Soil "wet on wet" HYDRO 1K FILLER WET ON WET ADI UPP
COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURER: Italy
Acrylic one-component water-based soil "wet on wet".
The product can be air-dried or in a drying chamber as an insulator. It is used in cases where large thicknesses of dry film are not required.
MAIN ADVANTAGES
1. The possibility of applying enamels on top of the product after 3 minutes after drying the product with warm air (drying hair dryer) or after 20 minutes at 20 °C.
2. Excellent adhesion to metal, aluminum, phosphate sheets, galvanized sheets, fiberglass, ABS-type plastics.
3. A coating system consisting of the given soil, enamel (both water-based and solvent-based), and lacquer provides a coating system with an excellent, full, glossy, and stretched appearance.
4. Excellent grinding in the insulating version.
5. After the first use, the product can be tightly closed in the container - this will avoid water evaporation.
6. The product can be applied directly to the cataphoresis, even without preliminary grinding.
Due to its chemical nature, namely due to the fact that the basis of the product is water, it is non-aggressive, therefore it is strongly recommended to use it in car body repair in cases where it is not known whether the car was previously painted with materials of a chemical nature. When using this soil, the probability of undermining the coating after the repair is completed is minimal.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
1. When using the product in the "wet on wet" version, it is necessary to dilute it by 30% using a thinner (code ADT.2200).
Setting the spray gun: nozzle 1.3-1.4 mm, adjust the air pressure depending on the type of spray gun - 3-4 bar, if the spray gun is standard, or 1.8-2.2 bar, if the spray gun is HLVP or LVLP. When applying, maintain a distance of 15 cm from the application surface, apply 2 even layers, observing an interval between layers of 10-15 minutes at 20 °C.
We recommend applying the next layer when the surface is completely matte. After applying the last layer of soil, wait 20 minutes at 20 °C or 2-3 minutes by blowing the surface with warm air (drying hair dryer). After that, you can apply enamel to the soil, both water-based and solvent-based.
2. When using the product in the insulating version, it is necessary to dilute it by 10-15% (volume) using a thinner (code ADT.2200). Setting the spray gun: nozzle 1.5-1.7 mm, adjust the air pressure depending on the type of spray gun - 3-4 bar, if the spray gun is standard, or 1.8-2.2 bar, if the spray guns are HLVP or LVLP. When applying, maintain a distance from the application surface of at least 15 cm, apply 2-3 even layers, observing an interval between layers of 10-15 minutes at 20°C.
We recommend applying the next layer when the surface is completely matte. After drying, after 2 hours at 20°C or 30 minutes at 60°C, the soil must be polished. Next, you can apply enamel to the soil, both water-based and solvent-based.
For greater anti-corrosion protection, we recommend applying the product to anti-corrosion soils or cataphoresis. Use a water-based cleaning solvent to clean the equipment.
